The Tie Guan Yin, or “Iron Bodhisattva,” light Oolong (#800) is a legendary tea with a magical aroma that you won’t soon forget!
Tie Guan Yin is one of the most famous teas in the world, beloved by tea connoisseurs not only in China but also across the globe. Originating from the Anxi County in the south of Fujian Province, this county sits at an elevation of 600-1200 meters above sea level. The soil is rich in minerals, and the climate is humid, creating ideal conditions for tea cultivation.
Tie Guan Yin is an Oolong with a magical taste, characterized by a moderate degree of fermentation. Like many famous teas in China, Tie Guan Yin has its own legend.
A peasant from the Anxi County wanted to restore an old, semi-ruined temple to the goddess Guan Yin. However, he was extremely poor and could not afford to do so. Instead, he decided to simply tidy up the interior to show his respect to the Bodhisattva. The peasant tended to the temple for many years, and one night, Guan Yin appeared to him in a dream, telling him that behind the temple, there was a treasure he could claim for himself, but he must also share it with others. The next day, the peasant found only a tea bush. He then decided to transplant the beautiful bush near his home. After some time, the peasant brewed a fragrant and delicious tea from it, the heavy tea leaves of which sank to the bottom when brewed, resembling iron. Thus, this tea was named in honor of the goddess – Tie Guan Yin (Iron Guan Yin).

Чай для весеннего настроения. В нем сочетаются такие классные ароматы, как жасмин, сладкая карамель, нежная акация и, в особенности, сирень! Вот последний из ингредиентов, как по мне, и является главной изюминкой всей этой композиции. Сирень есть не только в аромате, но и во вкусе. Она невероятно расслабляет. Под этот чай можно круто отдохнуть от суеты и прочих навалившихся проблем. Просто идешь, завариваешь Те Гуань Инь, и наслаждаешься процессом.

Чай, который блистает на каждой с ним чайной церемонии! Когда я впервые его попробовала, у меня сложилось мнение, что этот Те Гуань Инь просто создан для ярких впечатлений. Освежающие свежие нотки сирени идеально гармонируют с медовым послевкусием. Такое невозможно забыть. Поэтому всегда возвращаюсь к нему, чтобы наслаждаться его необыкновенностью снова и снова.

Пожалуй, это самый вкусный чай, который мне довелось попробовать! Сладкий, утонченный. Сирень в нем прекрасна! Я люблю устраивать с ним традиционные чаепития, потому что он нравится всем, вдохновляет и влюбляет с первого глотка. Я не любитель приторности, но и горький чай не для меня, поэтому Те Гуань мой выбор номер один! В нем блестяще все: от внешнего вида до послевкусия.

С Тегуанинем знакома. Долгое время был моим любимым чаем. Именно этот ТГ отличился прям аристократической утонченностью. Он не проявился сразу, как обычно это делают южнофуцзянцы. Он шаг за шагом постепенно овладевает твоим вниманием и буквально через 15 минут чаепития ты попадаешь в мир Те Гуаньиня – ботанический сад после дождя, прогретый солнцем в период цветения! Все переживания остаются за воротами, ты прогуливаешься среди буйно цветущей зелени, полной грудью вдыхаешь аромат сирени, ещё покрытой капельками росы, и твоё сердце наполняется мирным спокойствием. Вот такие ассоциации) Рекомендую!
