Description

This tea has a truly imperial appearance with a golden heart! Iron Bodhisattva Guanyin is one of the most famous and magical teas in the world.

Iron Bodhisattva Guanyin is one of the most renowned teas in China! This tea has a truly imperial appearance with a golden heart! Iron Bodhisattva Guanyin is one of the most famous teas in the world. It is loved and revered not only by Chinese tea connoisseurs but also by tea enthusiasts all over the globe.

Iron Bodhisattva Guanyin is an Oolong tea with a magical taste, characterized by a medium degree of fermentation.

Like any famous tea in China, Iron Bodhisattva Guanyin has its own legend. One peasant from Anxi County wanted to revive the old, semi-destroyed temple of the goddess Guanyin. However, he was extremely poor and could not afford it. So, he decided to at least maintain order inside the temple to express his respect to the Bodhisattva. The peasant took care of the temple for many years, and one day Guanyin appeared to him in a dream and said that behind the temple there was a treasure that he could take for himself, but he must also share it with others. The next day, the peasant found only a tea bush. He then decided to transplant the beautiful bush near his house. After some time, the peasant prepared from it a fragrant and tasty tea, the heavy tea leaves of which sank to the bottom when brewed, like iron. This tea was then named in honor of the goddess – Iron Bodhisattva Guanyin.
