Description
Bai Ji Guan is one of the famous northern Fujian oolongs! Bai Ji Guan (白鸡冠) translates to “White Rooster Crest”. Bai Ji Guan oolong is a rare tea that undergoes complex processing. If the delicate leaves are over-roasted, it will spoil the luxurious taste. The raw materials are heated at low temperatures. This allows the tea to reveal a refined, delicate, yet amazingly bright flavor. It grows in the gardens of the protected area of Mount Wuyi, in the north of Fujian province. It is mainly produced from tender young leaves in April-May.
