Minhong are red (we often call such tea black) teas from Fujian province produced using Gongfuhong technology. This means that tea buds, or small young leaves of tea bushes of one single variety, may be present in the raw material.

Min is the historical name of the area, referring to certain mountainous regions of the northern part of Fujian Province. Therefore, the red Gongfuhong from this region are usually called Minhong.

Fujian is the birthplace of red teas, and there have always been very high requirements for tea raw materials. The province also produces the finest white and oolong teas, a tradition of quality and sophistication. And it is not surprising that Fujian red teas are read as the thinnest or “high”, if you like tap teas, then you should definitely try Minhoons and form your own impression of their flavor melody.
