Description
This tea is considered one of the elite of Japanese teas, and it is customary to drink it little by little and slowly. The Japanese call it “Tea for Geniuses.” Gyokuro is the highest grade of Japanese tea Tea recognized as one of the best Japanese teas.
What is the secret of this tea? Consider the production management. The leaves are collected by hand in early spring. The whole point of this process is that a few weeks before the harvest, at the time of the active growth of the first buds, canopies are built over the tea plantation and gradually shade the space.
This way the growth process slows down, and the leaves retain their tenderness, sweetness and usefulness.
