Chinese green tea is the most popular in China, it has a lot of varieties and the largest price range, from the cheapest to the most expensive.
Our collection contains the most famous and interesting varieties of green tea, selected according to the optimal ratio of price and quality.
Of the entire range of green Chinese teas, we offer only high-quality teas, for the production of which only young upper buds and one or two leaves are harvested.
Chinese green teas are characterized by the traditional method of stopping fermentation, which in China is called “Sha Qing” or “killing” greens. It can be produced in three ways: roasting in a special boiler, heating over coals and steaming over hot steam.
The third method – steaming – is almost never used in China, but is the main one for Japanese teas.
Chinese green teas are extremely diverse both in appearance and in the type of raw materials. All this forms its own unique flavor bouquet of each variety. We recommend trying the most popular varieties in our store and finding your favorite!
