Description

This tea captivates with its enchanting aroma and rich flavor.

Mi Lan Xiang Dan Cong – an exquisite representative of Dan Cong teas The primary variety of Guangdong Oolong tea is known as Feng Huang Dan Cong. The term “Dan Cong” translates to “solitary bush.” In the Phoenix Mountains of Guangdong, the Camellia sinensis (tea bush or tree) can grow as tall as 10 meters.

The classic range of Dan Cong teas consists of what is known as Shi Xiang Shi Shu, meaning “Ten Aromas – Ten Trees,” which differ in leaf color and aroma, attributed to the various tree species. However, the raw materials are processed using a unified technique.

Unlike the processing methods in Anxi, the leaves are slightly more roasted and are not rolled into tight balls but remain open. The technological process involves repeated drying (heating) of the tea in straw baskets over wood charcoal for a year.

Mi Lan Xiang translates to “Honey Orchid Aroma.” This tea is named for its delightful fragrance, reminiscent of honey and orchids. It is produced using traditional methods that emphasize the preservation and enhancement of its natural floral aroma.
