Description

“Wuyi Narcissus” or “Water Fairy,” also known as “Water Elf,” is a popular and beloved oolong tea cherished by all. This tea has a warming and even intoxicating effect.

The tea bush variety is called “Zhu Xian” – “Gratitude to the Immortals.” However, in the local dialect, the character “Zhu” (gratitude) sounds the same as “Shui” (water), so over time, the tea came to be known as “Shui Xian” – narcissus, or water immortal.

Shui Xian from Wuyi is one of the most famous oolongs from Wuyi, with its plantations being the most numerous among teas in this region. The processing technique for this tea is the oldest among all oolongs.

The tea grows in the magnificent Wuyi Mountains, enveloped in mist and nurtured by pure air. There is ample sunshine and fertile soil. All this richness is reflected in the fragrant tea leaves.
